November 25, 2024: My Heart if Full

Image
Well this is it, my last mission email!! Time has flown by. I can't believe my mission is coming to an end this week!  I don't want to make this too long but I just want to write a few words of gratitude! Over these 18 months I have truly been changed! I have seen miracles happen every single day and through the Lord and his work I have been so blessed! I have loved every minute of meeting people from all over the world in Salt Lake City and Barcelona Spain! My mission means everything to me and the people that I have met have changed me!  Most importantly I have come to know my Savior Jesus Christ! I know he lives, he loves us! Everything that he did was for us and the immense love he has! He is my greatest example and my best friend! I know he has walked with me through every phase of my mission! I want to be better because of him but more often than not he has been there to pick me up when I fall!  I love my Heavenly Father and truly have felt his love for me on...

November 4, 2024: Prayers for Valencia

Image
Hola!!! These past two weeks have been crazy! There has been major flooding in Valencia and in Catarroja which was my first area here in Spain! My heart goes out to all of the people that I know and love!! Please pray for the sweet people of Valencia they need your prayers! The work here in Sabadell has been pretty normal besides all the rain which leads to plenty of canceled lessons but we are still going strong!  We have found a few new families in our area and they are progressing so well! First is Precious and here two boys! They are from Nigeria and we get to teach this sweet family in English which is quite a change for me! The first time we met with this sweet family we taught 3 Nefi 11 and they loved it! Precious started tearing up as she shared who Jesucristo was to her! One of her little boys was listening to the lesson with wide eyes fully engaged! I showed him a small painted card of Christ coming to the Americas to show him that Christ is our resurrected Savior!...

October 14, 2024: Hecho Esta - Esteban

Image
Hola hola mis mejores amigos!!  How is everyone!!! This week was crazy, so busy and so fun! It is officially the last week of the transfer and we got transfer news! I will be staying in Sabadell 1 for my last transfer on the mission! I am also staying with Hermana Weiler so we will have three transfers together and we couldn't be more excited!! I'm so excited for all the miracles coming this transfer!  Esteban had his baptism on Saturday and it was such a special day! He was so prepared to take this step and had shared with us multiple times of his desire to be a member of Christ's restored church! He has a testimony of the family we have in this church and had a strong desire to be a part of it! Esteban is an amazing guy but definitely has a more serious personality! When arriving home from the baptism we received a text that said “Hecho está, gracias - Esteban” That gave us a good little laugh and we are so proud of him for choosing to follow Christ!  To end the ...

October 7, 2024: The Spaniard was Baptized!

Image
Hola Feliz Lunes!!  Thank you for all your prayers and support! This week was full of blessings; we almost couldn't handle them all at once! Jose had the most beautiful baptism and we are so proud of him! A little background on Jose, he is from Sabadell and these last two weeks he has been super sick! So sick that he has been in and out of the hospital! But he persisted, he was so excited for his baptism and was willing to do anything to be able to be baptized! He had his bautismal interview in his hospital room and a miraculous three days later he was able to be baptized! He is such an example to me of doing all for the Lord!  We invited our amigo Esteban who is also from Spain to see what a baptism is all about! We'll he loved it, he loved it so much that he pulled us aside after the program and asked when he would be baptized! Without hesitation we fixed a date for October 12th! God is just so good and the blessings are coming all at once!  Then I was blessed wi...

Image
Hola mi gente!!!  Another beautiful week down here in Sabadell and it truly was such a blessed week! Not too many new updates about the area, all our amigos and doing so well! We are planning Jose's baptism for this Saturday 🌊 so please keep praying for him! We got to do service at the dog shelter and dogs make my heart so happy so it was quite a joyful week! We had a lot of lessons and work to do this week and my compañera and I both got a little sick but that didn't keep us from working!!  Now comes one of the most special days I have had on my mission! We went with a few members and amigos from our ward to the Barcelona temple site in Sant Cugat! It was such a sacred experience to feel the spirit in this location and have a picnic together! Even though the temple will not be built for a few years I could honestly feel so much peace on this beautiful site!  As a mission we have been praying and fasting for the papers and plans for the temple construction to begi...

September 23, 2024: The Miracle sent from Las Islas

Image
Hola :))) We saw so many miracles and tender mercies these last three weeks! So sorry these last few weeks have been CRAZY busy so let's get caught up! We started out with MLC when we planned the Compromisos for this new transfer and let me tell you it's going to be a good one! We had Conferencia de Zona and we really focused on the importance of working with members! We have already been so blessed from referencias from member families! So that is going to be the focus for the rest of the transfer!  We also were blessed to have a ton of service to do this week! First we went to a Residency or nursing home and took a group of cute granny's on a walk in their wheelchairs through a museum! I was assigned to the sweetest old lady and now my new best friend named Rosa. We talked about all your children and the weather and most importantly; her favorite catalunya bakeries.  We got to serve an older Lady in our ward and take her little dog Bruno on a walk. Bruno was the cutes...
