I made it through my first week at the MTC!! This week was hard and filled with many emotions and tears. The homesickness kicked in early and I am missing my family. Yet, I have felt the peace of the Holy Ghost holding me up. Seriously, this work is incredible. It's giving me all the energy and love I need to endure to the end!  Wednesday morning I was dropped off by mi Padre, Jaydn, and Zak and rushed into the MTC after a quick last hug! I arrived in my room after getting a quick tour of the MTC and met my Hermana's! These sisters are my saving grace!! Hermana Swift, Gunnerson, and Pederson are my favorite people! I love my district. We are getting through this amazingly crazy experience together.  Everyday we complete multiple hours of study, have three incredible classes and continue to grow in this Gospel.   Hola Amigos!!  I love you all so much, and I'm so grateful for all your love and support this week as I began my missionary service.  I have to be honest Sunday night (the night I was set apart) I was scared and uncertain of how I would feel as I started my missionary journey. But on the first day I couldn't deny the Spirit and its presence as I met with mi Distrito and mi compañera!  I love them all already. Mi compañera Hermana Swift is so incredible! I am so grateful for her Christlike love and eagerness to learn the Gospel! It's crazy how fast you come to love other missionaries even after meeting them in little boxes over zoom.  This is my first week of Home MTC and if you can't tell by the subject I love this work already. My average day consists of waking up, getting ready, and having my morning lesson from 7:30 to 10. Then we have an hour workshop or devotion that is absolutely incredible! Aro...

Addie received her mission call in January, 2023.  She opened it in Provo while attending BYU.  Mom and Dad, Sister Jaydn and Brother Zak were able to watch her open it live on FaceTime.  We were all so touched and excited to find out that Addie was called to serve in the Spain, Barcelona mission.  This was especially exciting for Jaydn as she served in this same mission in 2019 and 2020.   Hermana Ross was set apart as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Sunday, July 9th 2023 by President Ryan Stevens of the Lake Elsinore, California Stake.
