September 4, 2023 Becoming as a Little Child

 Hola Amigos, 


This week has been so busy with so much amazing work!! Everyday we have the chance to teach so many amazing members that are progressing so well! Every day I'm able to understand and speak a little bit more! The Gift of Tongues is real and I know that I can only accomplish this work through my Savior Jesus Christ! 

We have had so many amazing lessons and so MUCH food!! They love to feed the missionaries here. Almost every lesson comes with some food or delicious Pan! The people are so kind here, they are so patient with me and my Spanish. I was able to share my testimony in español during church on Sunday and I hope they felt the love I have for each of them! 

The highlight of the week was the opportunity we had to take our friends on a tour of the Conference Center!! This is the second time I have been to the Conference Center and Temple Square during the mission and it's my favorite experience!! We brought our Amigos we have been teaching. We had a big group of Leonardo, Paula and their two children and Johnny, Idred and their one child! 

Upon entering the main floor of the Conference Center the kids took off running to a picture of Jesus Christ extending his hands to his disciples. One of the Kids (age 7) yelled ¡ES JESUCRISTO! and ran to see the picture up close. The Spirit was incredibly strong as these three incredible children reached on their tippy toes to touch the hands of their Savior Jesucristo! People and missionaries all around the main floor stopped and felt the Spirit of this incredible family and their children! We were seeing the Joy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the eyes of a child! 

I have seen so many experiences such as this one! I'm so grateful for the opportunity I have to witness El Evangelio de Jesucristo change people's lives! This Gospel brings light into lives, hope into hearts, and love into families! 

I was sent a quote by my Branch President's wife Sister Magleby in the MTC. This quote by Henry B. Eyring has really helped me during the times I feel inadequate with Spanish or the work. And I wanted to share it with you! 

"My simple message...is the one that has taken away my self-doubt as I have labored in calls from the Lord that appeared far beyond me. It is the reality that Heavenly Father and His Beloved Son, ...Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost go with me.

I hope you all have an incredible week and please remember we are never alone! Whether it be a mission, school, work, family, we have a Loving Heavenly Father, a Savior Jesus Christ, and a Comforter the Holy Ghost to help us. I have seen and felt their influence in my life!   Well this is it, my last mission email!! Time has flown by. I can't believe my mission is coming to an end this week!  I don't want to make this too long but I just want to write a few words of gratitude! Over these 18 months I have truly been changed! I have seen miracles happen every single day and through the Lord and his work I have been so blessed! I have loved every minute of meeting people from all over the world in Salt Lake City and Barcelona Spain! November 11, 2024: Life is a rollercoaster of JOY!

  Are you guys ready for this rollercoaster of a week!!! *Also a huge shout out to BYU GO COUGS!!! I don't think I have ever been more tired on my mission but this truly was one of the most spiritual filled weeks!! We had amazing lessons with so many progressing friends, hours of service to help those in Valencia, and so many conferencias including a visit from Elder Soares of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles!  AMIGOS  Let me brag about my friends real quick. I love them all so much and I truly find so much joy in teaching them!! Valentina and Santiago are getting ready for the wedding and we are completely the form and finalizing everything so updates to come!! This family is everything to me and I promised them that I would be back for their sealing in a year! I had intercambios with my favorite Hermana Ficklin who is half Spaniard and an icon! November 4, 2024: Prayers for Valencia

  Hola!!! These past two weeks have been crazy! There has been major flooding in Valencia and in Catarroja which was my first area here in Spain! My heart goes out to all of the people that I know and love!! Please pray for the sweet people of Valencia they need your prayers! The work here in Sabadell has been pretty normal besides all the rain which leads to plenty of canceled lessons but we are still going strong!  We have found a few new families in our area and they are progressing so well! First is Precious and here two boys! They are from Nigeria and we get to teach this sweet family in English which is quite a change for me! The first time we met with this sweet family we taught 3 Nefi 11 and they loved it! Precious started tearing up as she shared who Jesucristo was to her! One of her little boys was listening to the lesson with wide eyes fully engaged! I showed him a small painted card of Christ coming to the Americas to show him that Christ is our resurrected Savior!...
