February 26, 2024: Trip to MADRID!!

¡Hola a todos! Cómo está??
This week was filled with conferences, a trip to Madrid, the temple, and so many miracles!!

CONFERENCIA DE ZONA 
The Valencia Zone had conference this week and we focused on the importance of members in this work! It has been so amazing to see how members and their testimonies can bring such a spirit into our lessons! Members are so important to our amigos and their lifelong conversion in the Church! We focused on ways to invite members to be active in this missionary work and how we as missionaries should be a constant support to the ward and its members! Hermana Heckmann made reservations for lunch at a fancy restaurant in Valencia so our whole zone enjoyed a Spanish 3 course meal haha

VAMOS A MADRID 
All three missions in Spain (Madrid north, Madrid south, and Barcelona) had the opportunity to gather in Madrid on the temple grounds! I got to see a bunch of Missionaries from the MTC and my old compañeras! Our mission was blessed with the chance to do an endowment session in the Madrid temple!! The Madrid Temple is GORGEOUS and to be able to go do a endowment session in Spanish was such an amazing experience! The minute I walked into that sacred temple all I felt was the deep profound love of my Heavenly Father! I have been blessed to go to the temple frequently on my mission and truly it gives me so much peace! These moments to ponder and pray in the temple are so special to me! And now as a missionary I get the chance to pray and seek guidance for the friends we are teaching! 

ELDER CHRISTOFFERSON 
While in Madrid we had a huge conference with all the three missions in Spain! Every missionary got a chance to shake Elder Christofferson's hand so that was a highlight for me lol! We got to hear from President and Hermana Waddel, Elder and Hermana Nielson, and Elder and Hermana Christofferson! I learned so much about the importance of God in this work! It truly is HIS WORK and us as missionaries cannot do it without his guidance each and everyday! God is in the details of all of our friends' lives! An invitation that Elder Christofferson extended to all the missionaries was to learn about Jesus Christ but most importantly get to KNOW him on a personal level! I love this dedicated 18 months that I get to know my Savior on a deeper level! I love him and I know he lives and he loves each of us! 

LUZ Y SISKATL
So some really exciting news this week Luz AND Siskatl are both on date for the 3rd of March!! We have been trying to put Luz on date with her daughter for forever!! This truly was such a learning experience for me and I learned how to be patient and trust in the Lord's timing! Having to move Siskatl's date from the 25th of February to the 3rd of March was so hard for me but because of this small change her mom Luz felt ready and prepared to be baptized!! I know that everything happens for a reason and the Lord has everything under control! So we met with Luz on Sunday and she walked up to me and told me she was ready to be baptized on the 3rd! I was literally in shock!!! So she basically put herself on date and we couldn't be more excited for Luz and Siskatl! 

So yeah this is my super exciting week update!! Thank you for all your prayers and love! Miss you all so much and have an incredible week!

  Well this is it, my last mission email!! Time has flown by. I can't believe my mission is coming to an end this week!  I don't want to make this too long but I just want to write a few words of gratitude! Over these 18 months I have truly been changed! I have seen miracles happen every single day and through the Lord and his work I have been so blessed! I have loved every minute of meeting people from all over the world in Salt Lake City and Barcelona Spain! My mission means everything to me and the people that I have met have changed me!  Most importantly I have come to know my Savior Jesus Christ! I know he lives, he loves us! Everything that he did was for us and the immense love he has! He is my greatest example and my best friend! I know he has walked with me through every phase of my mission! November 11, 2024: Life is a rollercoaster of JOY!

  Are you guys ready for this rollercoaster of a week!!! *Also a huge shout out to BYU GO COUGS!!! I don't think I have ever been more tired on my mission but this truly was one of the most spiritual filled weeks!! We had amazing lessons with so many progressing friends, hours of service to help those in Valencia, and so many conferencias including a visit from Elder Soares of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles!  AMIGOS  Let me brag about my friends real quick. I love them all so much and I truly find so much joy in teaching them!! Valentina and Santiago are getting ready for the wedding and we are completely the form and finalizing everything so updates to come!! This family is everything to me and I promised them that I would be back for their sealing in a year! I had intercambios with my favorite Hermana Ficklin who is half Spaniard and an icon! November 4, 2024: Prayers for Valencia

  Hola!!! These past two weeks have been crazy! There has been major flooding in Valencia and in Catarroja which was my first area here in Spain! My heart goes out to all of the people that I know and love!! Please pray for the sweet people of Valencia they need your prayers! The work here in Sabadell has been pretty normal besides all the rain which leads to plenty of canceled lessons but we are still going strong!  We have found a few new families in our area and they are progressing so well! First is Precious and here two boys! They are from Nigeria and we get to teach this sweet family in English which is quite a change for me! The first time we met with this sweet family we taught 3 Nefi 11 and they loved it! Precious started tearing up as she shared who Jesucristo was to her! One of her little boys was listening to the lesson with wide eyes fully engaged! I showed him a small painted card of Christ coming to the Americas to show him that Christ is our resurrected Savior!...
